Students enrolled in this class must be enrolled in the Symphony Orchestra and are highly encouraged to audition for the Senior Regional Orchestra or Senior District Orchestra and take private lessons (though not required). Many of our LSYO musicians also participate in their schools Honors Music Programs such as All State Orchestra and Bands, Senior/Junior Regional Orchestras, and All County Honors Orchestras/Bands. LSYO rehearsals take place from September until May.
